Jon was born in New York in 1983 and grew up in an aviary. He earned his degree in History. He lived in Mumbai while the city was laid to siege by terrorists on 26 November 2008, and subsequently fled to live itinerantly around the world before joining the circus in NYC. Now living in Queens, he is working on a story cycle titled Inner City.
